[view fullsize] Rose’s room, to accompany Dave’s :)

mmm drawings of bedrooms are one of my favorite things
actually bedrooms in general
someday I will have a cozy bedroom. The dorm room I’m in now is too big and, I dunno, not exactly too empty but everything’s concentrated on certain parts of the room while other parts are just there. That’s the same way my room at home is; far too large, and I don’t spend much time in most of it. Not to mention the poor lighting.
last year’s room was cozier, thanks to the fact that it was smaller and we had plants on the windowsill and whatnot. But still not quite what I’d like to have someday. Anyway, having a kitchen makes up for a current lack of coziness anyway. Though I wonder if I’ll ever like my own bedroom as much as I like other people’s; perhaps I’m just habituated to what I’ve already got whereas other places, in being foreign, seem so much more appealing.
But, I mean, they’ve got bookshelves. And better wall decor! I need to step up my wall game.

New York lessons: cozy is overrated. (Not super-overrated, of course! But sorta?)
