Can we talk about the fact that Carly Rae Jepsen has basically released “Call Your Girlfriend” as her huge follow-up-to-sounds-like-“Call Me Maybe”-Bieber-and-Scooter-approved single? Except without the calling of the girlfriend?
Because… thing is… I don’t hate it — actually, I kind of actively don’t hate it; right now it’d get a [7] from me — and I don’t know why, considering my stance on “Call Your Girlfriend” and on LMFAO (this was co-written by Redfoo). Maybe it’s my stance on chutzpah? My resistance to hooks? I AM CONFUSED.
